Hiatuses and Hellhounds

Well... just a few journals ago, I was announcing my hiatus... and now I'm going to announce it again.

There shall be a lack of art for the next few weeks.
Three to be exact.
But when I get back, there's a high chance that there will be massive upload attacks.

I'M GOIN' TA WRAITEEN' CAMP, Y'ALL!
...I totally do not know why I just wrote it like that. But it's true. I'm off to writing camp again! And you know what that means! Yes! Limited or random internet access! Yay!

...But something that doesn't help... is that there is a graveyard not too far away from our... Dorms? I guess it's a dorm. More of a shelled-out motel. Anyways, I was watching Lost Tapes on Animal Planet the other weekend, where people are filming something and then they have an encounter with some mythical creature and catch it on tape and someone finds the camcorder and they review the footage and send it in and blah blah blah.

My point is, I started watching it, and this episode they were featuring the Hellhound. The hellhound is a black dog with glowing red eyes. It walks around graveyards during the day and night guarding the souls or whatever. And, here's the best part! If you see it three times, you die. So I thought, This should be cool or interesting. So I watched it. It was a group of magick or Wiccan kids, and they were initiating another girl into their circle that night. Hey! Let's go to a graveyard to do this shizz! Awesome! And let's blindfold the girl when we get her so we can "give her the gift of sight" when she's finally initiated! ...So they pull up on some road in or right in front of the graveyard and BAM! Huge rottweiler-like dog with glowing red eyes jumped on the hood. There was screaming. Then it disappeared off camera. Then later, while initiating new girl, they see the dog again. (Keep in mind, new girl still hasn't seen said dog yet due to blindfold.) So some minutes after, she's like "Guys don't look at the dog again, if you do you die!" ...Well, everyone else but her ends up seeing it a third time. They all run panicky towards their car, blubbering and screaming. Then they get in the car and start arguing, and then the smart driver doesn't look where she's going and there is a crash and then the camcorder shows them all laying on the ground with blood and the works and the new girl crawls out and she walks away from the scene because she didn't see the dog. Right after her the hellhound follows.

So now I have a fear of graveyards.

I admit, some things about the video were... questionable. Some of the elements of the tape seemed to be too planned and stuff. But somethings seemed too real to be faked.

Well. That was really straying from the topic.
So guys, if I don't die or go insane from fear of seeing the hellhound, I'll be back in three weeks or randomly in that time period.

And to anyone who actually made it to the end of my rambling, I ask something of you. Any good music suggestions? And good book suggestions? I am in need of both. I have a music and book craving right now.

Oh. And happy 4th of July.

Hmm. Well, your style is actually a lot like mine was a year or two ago. You may want to consider doing basic form guidelines for your people. It seems silly to just draw an hourglass with a circle on top and sticks connected to circles and call it a human base, but after some time it really helps with anatomy and getting form right. Also, you would want to show hands more, just to get in the practice of drawing hands. And one last piece of advice (that I should actually take myself): Try using different poses. Like an OC being sprawled across the couch while watching television, or Taiikuka playing the sport she loves to play. All I can say now is to practice.

And thank you for the watch. :)
o no problem. great advice thank you SO much! this helps a lot!!! :) i hope i get as good as you.
Thanks for the favorite
